    This pair of vintage, black amethyst, pressed glass bowls were produced during the Depression era by US Glass. The name of the pattern is Rose and Thorn. It features roses around the inside of each bowl, and thorns around the rim. Each bowl sits atop three little feet and there is a matching pattern on the underside of the bowl also.
    These bowls measure 5" in diameter and 1 1/2" in height.
    In good condition they have some light wear from age, and slight roughness to the rim, but no chips or cracks.
