Reishauer Diamond Tools Type2 - CVD
Diamond cutters are designed for straightening worm grinding wheels for round, center and flat grinding operations on REISHAUER grinding machines and other machines. This tool is highly durable and ensures the accuracy of the profile of the abrasive wheel.
Reishauer Diamond Cutters for editing abrasive worm, have a number of design options. They are made with the differences of the holder, linear and transverse dimensions of the diamond, the method of attachment in the grinding machines.
Reishauer Diamond Cutter is a tool in the form of a metal plate with a fixed insert of natural (ND) and synthetic diamonds (MCD, CVD).
CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) diamond. The mixture of carbon-containing gas and oxygen is excited and decomposed at a high temperature and a pressure lower than the standard atmospheric pressure to form an active diamond carbon atom, and the deposit is alternately grown on the substrate to form a polycrystalline diamond.This high-tech cutting material outclasses PCD in terms of wear resistance, durability and achievable surface quality.
