Description

PAM-1021 NEW! Enerpac Air/Hydraulic Pump, 10,000psi, 2Way Valve. Shipped with UPS, NEW PUMP, NOT IN THE ORIGINAL BOX.
The Enerpac PAM-1021 two-speed, single-acting cylinder hydraulic air pump is for lifting, bolting, or applying pressure with a hydraulic cylinder (sold separately) in plant maintenance, fabrication, production, bolting, vehicle repair, and other applications where compressed air is the preferred power source. The pump has a twin air motor and a three-way, two-position valve for advancing, releasing, or holding a single-acting cylinder. It has an internal pressure relief valve that helps protect the pump from overload. This two-speed pump is for applications where there is little or no load initially, but where increased force is needed when the load is applied. When no load is present, the pump operates in the first stage, which has a faster flow rate. When the pump senses a load, it switches to the second stage, which requires fewer handle strokes and slows the flow rate to produce more pressure and move the load. It has a built-in handle for carrying the pump between locations. The pump has a 1/4" National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads port for connecting to an air supply and a 3/8" NPT threads port for connecting to a hose or gauge (sold separately).

Hydraulic pumps lift, bolt, or apply pressure to objects by pressurizing and moving hydraulic fluid. A hydraulic pump consists of a base, a reservoir that holds hydraulic fluid, and an operating mechanism, such as a handle or foot pedal, an electric motor, compressed air, or a gasoline engine. When the operating mechanism is activated, pressurized hydraulic fluid from the reservoir is delivered through an attached hose to a hydraulic cylinder. The pressurized hydraulic fluid in the cylinder lifts the cylinder’s piston, which in turn lifts the load. Hydraulic hand pumps are usually made of steel, or aluminum and nylon, and can be single-speed or two-speed. They are used in a wide range of applications, such as construction, manufacturing, and maintenance and repair applications in both industrial and home settings.
Enerpac manufactures industrial hydraulic equipment for lifting, workholding, and other applications, and provides integrated lifting solutions for bridge construction, mining, shipbuilding, and other industries. The company, founded in 1959, is headquartered in Menominee Falls, WI.
