    Description

    The front of the coin features a raised head-and-shoulder profile of Queen Elizabeth II.
    Circling around the silver coin are the words: "ELIZABETH II BAHAMA ISLANDS".
    The back of the coin features a Swordfish (Blue Marlin) leaping from the sea; to the right in raised lettering, "FIFTY CENTS 1966".
    1966 was the first year the coin was issued.
