    Description

    Bahamas - 1966 First Official Mint Coin Set
    The complete yearly set comprises nine (9) coins: 1, 5, 10, 15, 25 & 50 Cents; and 1, 2 & 5 Dollars
    Coins were struck and packaged at
    The Royal Mint
    under authorization of the Government of Bahamas.
    My father purchased from the mint and I have the original shipping box.  These coins were in his safe since new and just opened the shipping box to take the pictures.
    Coins are rested on a velvet inside original burgundy case.
    The four highest denomination coins - 50, Dollar, Dollars and Dollars are all made of Silver and weigh 10.37, 18.14, 29.80 and 42.12 grams respectively. This makes just the total bullion content of the set is exactly 2.87 Ounces of Pure Silver
